The Kentucky coaching staff dipped into the JUCO ranks to get their latest signee.  6'10 Eloy Vargas out of Miami Dade Junior College has decided to play ball in a Wildcat uniform next season.  The power forward is no stranger to the SEC.  Vargas was a University of Florida recruit during the 2008-2009 season.  At Florida he played in nine games before an ankle injury caused him to be sidelined.  Shortly after he decided to leave and enroll at Miami Dade where he averaged 25 points and 13 rebounds per game while being named to the FCCAA All-State Team and the Southern Conference Player of the Year.
