Very seldom in AAU competition do you see great chemistry between players on the court, but when you do find that bunch that has a feel for each others game it can be dangerous for opposing teams. All-Ohio Red's back court of Stevie Taylor and Trey Burke possess just that, chemistry!!! On the floor they know each others every move. Both guys are natural point guards, so they understand the importance of hitting each other with on the money passes when ever either guard decides to penetrate and kick.
During the EYBL Session 1 at in Virgina, the Oakland Soldiers were dominating every opponent. Even defeating Marquis Teague and his Spiece Indy Heat team by 50+. The Soldiers expected to sweep the competition but on the final day Taylor and Burke were too much to handle. After a killer in and out by Taylor on Nick Johnson which was finished off with a floater, the duo started clicking on all cylinders with acrobatic layups and floaters form Burke. This tandom is definetly an exciting one to watch, more importantly they understand how to play the game and they play it with a passion. Best friends since they were playing together since city league, look for them to make a run at the EYBL Championship in Augusta, but most certainly look for them on a Division I roster a year from now.
